Vertical Blinds are especially practical on sliding glass doors, since the sliders traverse from side to side. Therefore, if you want to open a slider for fresh air, or to go out, you need only draw the verticals open the same distance as the door. Unlike drapes, PVC verticals do not hold dust. AND, when the verticals are drawn shut, you can still see out by tilting the vanes open to any angle to block the sun.
You may also match the pattern and color to Plantation Shutters or horizontal wood or faux wood blinds.
