Shutter The look and feel of real wood shutters. Unlike hollow PVC shutters that have a "plastic look", these "fauxwood" shutters have a unique foam filled vinyl composition, giving them a solid appearance, just like wood. They have the weight and "feel" of wood-- not like "hollow" PVC The texture looks like painted wood-- not plastic These shutters will accept screws, just like wood - they can be cut with a saw - better than wood, as they will not splinter when cut. Although these shutters do not need painting, they can be painted, unlike PVC shutters. You decide.
